As president of HotWire, Inc., Troy oversees day-to-day operations, including the hiring of employees, and procurement of materials and equipment to perform all phases of electrical and communication construction.
Troy is a charismatic leader. He has gained the trust and respect of his staff, the construction community, and his fellow professional associates. Leading by example, he encourages employees to strive for the best possible execution. His project involvement and frequent visits to the field inspire employees, and many who began their careers working for or with him are on his team today.
Having previously worked as journeyman, foreman, and general foreman, Troy has expertise in traffic signals; transmission lines; instrument calibration; and the complete electrical design, layout, and installation of commercial buildings. He holds electrical administrator, electrical journeyman, and electrical transmission line licenses, is a certified fiber-optics installer, a member of the NECA Alaska Board of Directors, a trustee of the Alaska Electrical Trust Funds, and a member of the IBEW safety committee. He has more than 26 years experience in the electrical contracting business. | |
