As General Manager of HotWire Electric, Ron Moon holds a state of Alaska Electrical Administrator's License and brings more than 35 years of experience in the electrical and telecommunications industries, 25 of which have been spent overseeing projects in and outside Alaska. Ron manages local and remote projects state wide, with budgets ranging as high as $5 million
An expert in underground electrical wiring, including traffic signal and highway lighting, Ron has designed numerous traffic signal systems for the State of Alaska, the Municipality of Anchorage, and Elmendorf Air Force Base. Some of Ron's most notable projects include the $4.2 million Alaska Sealife Center in Seward, airfield reconstructions on Ft. Greely, Alaska, and Wake Island, the Barrow High School and Community Center, and the Dimond Interchange.
Ron joined the HotWire family in February, 1999, and has been helping us better serve the Alaskan community for the past 10 years. A former U.S. Army Paratrooper, Ron attended Texas A&M University, as well as numerous NECA management, leadership, and technical seminars.
