Dave Ellis has 32 years of experience in the electrical trade and holds both Journeyman Electrician and State of Alaska Electrical Administrator licenses. Dave is a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), is certified by Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) for cabling design, and has numerous certifications in the installation of telephone systems, including Siemons, Mitel, and NEC.

Dave has extensive experience designing and installing fiber-optic, structured cabling, and phone and voicemail systems. He has supervised HotWire's team of certified technicians on a number of major projects, including all of the fiber-optic backbone and Category 6 upgrades for Alaska Regional Hospital, the structured cabling and wireless system for Nicholas J. Begich Middle School, and the Fairbanks area-wide wireless project for the Fairbanks North Star Borough.
